At BongHosting, we strive to deliver top-quality web hosting and related services to all our customers. However, we understand that there may be situations where you need to cancel or request a refund. This policy outlines our cancellation and refund terms clearly for your convenience.
1. Cancellation Policy
- You can cancel your BongHosting account or service at any time by:
- Logging into your BongHosting Client Area and selecting the “Cancel Account” option.
- Or by contacting our Customer Support team via support ticket or email.
- Important:
- Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 24 hours before the next billing cycle to avoid being charged for the upcoming period.
- Services will only be terminated after we process and confirm your cancellation request.
2. General Refund Terms
- No refund will be processed after 45 days from the date of purchase.
- Refunds are only applicable when the following conditions are met:
- The service was purchased directly from BongHosting.
- The request is submitted within 45 days of the original purchase.
- The service is cancelled before a refund can be issued.
- Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:
- If your service is suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service.
- If you upgraded from a free trial plan to a paid plan.
- If you change your mind after purchase or bought a service by mistake.
- For any domain registrations, transfers, or renewals (these are strictly non-refundable).
- If you requested a refund after 45 days of purchase.
- Refund Processing Method:
- Refunds will be processed to your original payment method (bank transfer, PayPal, etc.) wherever possible.
- If the original method is unavailable, the amount will be credited to your BongHosting wallet for future use.
- Any transaction fees or payment gateway charges will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Currency & Exchange Rates:
- All refunds are processed in INR (₹) or USD ($).
- BongHosting is not responsible for exchange rate differences between the time of payment and refund.
3. Refund Guidelines by Service
a) Shared Hosting (cPanel & DirectAdmin)
- Refunds are eligible within 45 days of purchase.
- If your plan includes a free domain, the regular cost of the domain will be deducted from your refund amount.
- No refunds for:
- Add-ons or extra features purchased separately.
- Renewals of existing hosting plans.
b) Domain Registration, Transfers & Renewals
- Strictly non-refundable.
- This includes:
- Domain registration fees.
- Domain transfer fees.
- Premium domain purchase fees.
- Whois Privacy/Protection fees.
Once a domain is registered or renewed, it cannot be reversed or refunded
e) Web Design / Development Services
- 100% refund if the request is made within 24 hours of placing the order.
- 50% refund if work has already started.
- No refund if 50% or more of the project has been completed.
f) Non-Refundable Services
The following services are completely non-refundable:
- Domain Registration
- Domain Transfer
- Domain Renewals
- Whois Privacy Protection
- SSL Certificates (after activation)
- Any service purchased using wallet balance
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please:
- Cancel the active service from your BongHosting account or contact at e-mail or WhatsApp.
- Submit a support ticket with the following details:
- Service name
- Invoice ID
- Payment method used
- Bank details (if applicable)
- Our team will verify the request and process your refund within 7-10 business days.
5. Final Notes
- By signing up for BongHosting services, you agree to this Cancellation and Refund Policy.
- BongHosting reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time, and such changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
- Refund decisions are final and made solely at BongHosting’s discretion.
